Volunteer Guidelines
ALL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES ARE ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT PAID
MEMBERS OF THE CLUB.
There are many opportunities to volunteer your time to the
Phoenix Coyotes Booster Club. The following is an explanation
of the requirements and responsibilities of each type of
volunteering opportunity. Volunteers for the Booster Club are
representing not only the Club, but also the Coyotes in many
instances. As a result, all volunteers must refrain from
consuming alcoholic beverages prior to volunteering, and smokers
must remove themselves from the area before smoking. We are a
family organization, and adults should remember that children may be
present at all events and volunteer opportunities, and should be
respectful of their presence and conduct themselves accordingly. If you do not have tickets to the game,
this is a great way to get in to the arena! If you are interested
in volunteering to work, please email us at
volunteer@phxcoyotesboosterclub.com and tell us which date you'd
like to volunteer, and whether or not you have tickets to the game.
Members who volunteer to work the table will earn 25 points! During the Game

- We will put your name on the list with security at Gate 3
(northwest corner)
- You can enter through Gate 3 1 1/2 hours before the game starts
- If you have tickets, you can arrive whenever you like, just come
to the table by the time the anthem begins
- We will give you instructions for working the table once you
arrive. This takes about 10 minutes. If you can come to
the table first, we will brief you, then you can go do whatever you
like until the anthem
- You will stay at the table until the end of the second
intermission
- When multiple volunteers are working at the same
time, one at a time may step away from the table to view
the game. When only one person is volunteering,
he/she must stay at the table the entire time
- Then you can go back to your seat or to the seat on the ticket
provided
Poster Table Volunteers
We have a new fund raiser - selling Kids Cheer Posters. We
sell the blank posters for $2 each, and provide markers for kids to
use to make their own signs. The Booster Club will provide the
posters and the markers, and the proceeds from the $2 posters will
go to Coyotes Charities.
We will need people to volunteer to man this table before the
games. We will only open the table from 1.5 hours before the game
starts until just before the puck drops. So people who volunteer to
do this should not miss any of the game at all!
- Volunteers should report to Gate 3 to enter the arena
approximately 2 hours before the game starts
- Come to the Booster Club table and we will provide the
supplies for you
- Volunteers will be responsible for -
- Setting up the table
- Collecting the $2 per poster
- Packing up all supplies when done
- Monitoring the markers so they are not accidentally
removed from the tables
- Checking the posters for appropriateness.
We will not allow any inappropriate language etc. These are
signs targeted for children to show their support of the
Coyotes, so we can not allow anything inappropriate.
If there are any problems with the content of the signs
people are making, this fund raiser will be canceled.
- You will shut down the table 10 minutes before puck drops.
You can start packing up before that so you are out on time.
- You will bring the supplies back to the Booster Club table
so you can go enjoy the game!
This would be a great opportunities for families to get involved!
Kids are sometimes the most honest when it comes to telling the
truth, and they can make sure their peers aren't making
inappropriate signs! And it is a great way to involve the kids and
make them feel like they are a valued part of this club - because
they are!!! :)
Members who volunteer to work this table will earn 25 membership
points per game, and if you don't already have tickets to the game,
this is a great way to help raise money, show your support and see
the Coyotes play at home. |
