  1. Jenn Harrison was announced as the new Treasurer.
  2. The next meeting will be on 01/19/08 at 3:00 PM. The meeting place may be moved from the Employee Break Room to a Tower Suite.
  3. The Club had 22 volunteers working the 50/50 raffle. The exact amount made isn’t known yet, but an approximation of at least $500.00 is expected. Thank you to everyone who helped. The Club will work the raffle again for the last home game of the regular season on Thursday, 04/03/08 against Dallas. We will again need volunteers for this event and you will earn points too.
  4. After the New Year’s Eve game, there will be no more volunteers working the Booster Club Booth for pre-game. The officers are generally present to get the table set up and can work the booth until the game begins. Volunteers are still needed to work during the game for all future games. The points have gone up for volunteering. You will earn 15 points for working a game. Members should contact Dave Horn at volunteer@phxcoyotesboosterclub.com to sign up as a volunteer.
  5. More members are earning their t-shirts tonight.
  6. December financials were detailed. The Club account has about $2800.00 with a future $300.00 still to be made by an employer match. The Club is in negotiations for the price of the light-up necklaces, since many of them are defective. That bill is currently $821.00.
  7. The Club will look at getting pins next year instead of necklaces.
  8. The Club would like to offer a bonus reward for early renewal for next season. The season runs Jul 1st – Jun 30th. Extra points as the bonus was mentioned to start the new season with points or add extra points to this season to attain a higher point reward. Or possibly an additional autographed player photograph.
  9. There are a total of 160 members in the Booster Club. Two of whom joined at the last game. Reminder – there were only a total of 78 members total last season.
  10. There will be a tailgate party for the Booster Club on Saturday, 02/16/08 before the LA game at approximately 3:00PM. A tentative head count would be appreciated. Contact membership@phxcoyotesboosterclub.com  if you can attend.
  11. End of year award; will be named after Beth Champie, the committee will need to meet to determine the qualifications for the award. This award will be for the player with the most dedication to the fans/community. It will be voted on by Booster Club members only. Dave Horn, Jay and Gwen McMichael, Monique Reaux, Kirsten Hathcock and Andrea Hasbrouck and anyone else interested will form this committee.
  12. What benefits do the members want to get out of being a member? A list of things for the “Wish List” to be given to the Coyotes next week was touched upon. If anyone has any suggestions, please contact Heather at President@phycoyotesboosterclub.com with any and all items. If we ask for the stars, we may get the moon.
  13. Items discussed as benefits or rewards of being a member were: pre-game recognition on the bench, broom ball on the ice, skate with players after practice, autograph session after practice, and selling socks and/or gloves with the Club or Coyotes logo on them.
  14. The Booster Club would like to be the official “collectors” for the Coyotes Causes/Charities in the future. This would include all food drives, toy drives, etc.
  15. The Club is working on getting a set of jerseys to be worn by the players and auctioned off by the Club.
  16. If you have any questions about what is being put on the screen during the game and intermissions, you can send them to game.ops@phoenixcoyotes.com for answers. If you don’t get any resolve, contact one of the board members and the Club can use other routes of communication.

The next Booster Club meeting is scheduled for 01/19/08 at 3:00 PM in a Jobing.com arena Tower Suite.
