Meeting Date and Location: Starbuck’s on 12/15/07 from 10:00 to 10:30 AM

Attendance: All four officers were on time and present for the entire meeting. There is no current Treasurer on the board at this time.

Agenda:

  • Treasurer position
  • Agenda for membership meeting

Items that were discussed:

  1. This meeting was to discuss the Treasurer position and the agenda for the next Booster Club meeting.
  2. The tailgate party scheduled for the 22nd will be postponed if we can’t get the parking lot opened earlier than 2 ˝ hours prior to the start of the game. An email will go out next week to all members. Future dates to consider are Jan 5th against Anaheim or Feb 16th against Los Angeles. The January Club meeting will be on Jan 19th at 3 PM. We could do future tailgate parties in conjunction with the monthly Club meeting if the parking lot can be opened earlier.
  3. Jan 19th is also a season ticket holder meet and greet with Legends of Hockey Bobby Hull. The board members will be attending.
  4. The board decided to increase the amount of points earned for volunteering to work the Club table.
  5. A volunteer with no ticket for the evening will be required to work 1st and 2nd period. They will earn 15 points.
  6. A ticket holder can work one period for 10 points, two periods for 15 points and can work pre-game for 10 points.
  7. Volunteers that do not have a ticket will be given a ticket to sit during 3rd period to watch the remainder of the game. This way there will be no confusion for the ushers as to who can sit where.
  8. The committee that will do the end of year award needs to meet with Dave and start getting details finalized. Heather is getting some of the requirements from the Coyotes Charities/Causes. We would like Irene Schwartzbauer to be involved with the award also.
  9. Some very good ideas are coming in from members for the “wish list” to be presented to the Coyotes in January for next season. We still need more great ideas.
  10. Some ideas are to have the team wear a Booster Club patch on their uniforms during practice or Coyotes Fest and have the Club auction the jerseys off to raise money for the Coyotes Charities.
  11. We would have to determine if we need to purchase the jerseys or if the team will donate them.
  12. The Treasurer position was discussed. For the 2007-2008 season, the member must be at least a partial season ticket holder. Starting in the 2008-2009 season all officers must be full season ticket holders. The board would like to be made up of members that really want to dedicate time to the Club and the team.
  13. The Club will meet with a few members that have shown interest in the position to determine their time restraints and dedication to the team.
  14. Items for the agenda for the Club meeting on the 29th are: filling or not filling the Treasurer position, the end of year award, future tailgate parties and items for the “wish list” for next season.

The next Booster Club meeting is scheduled for 12/29/07 at 3:00 PM in the Jobing.com arena employee break room.
