Agenda:

  • Updates
  • Agenda for membership meeting

Items that were discussed:

  1. The game on 11/21/07 will have a food drive sponsored by the player’s wives. The Booster Cub will have volunteers also help with the food drive. The volunteers will consolidate the donations and load the truck for St. Vincent de Paul. This will take place from approximately 5:00 – 8:30PM. It is a 7:30 start for the game; this gives late comers the opportunity to donate items as well.
  2. Heather will work at getting the team photographs from Don Schwartz and pay for them. She will determine if Don will be getting them autographed for us at the monthly team signing, or if the Club officers will get them signed ourselves.
  3. The Club assets were discussed. It was decided that all membership materials and auction items should be in the same place rather than spread out between multiple officers. We all agreed that the items the Treasurer has should be transferred to the President.
  4. Necklaces will be in this week; will be available for donations of $7.00 each or 3 for $20 at the game on the 21st and also on the 24th. Heather will check with Valerie to see if there are extra waist pouches the Club can use to keep the money and merchandise safe. Volunteers may be asked to help with this process also.
  5. The Booster Club logo pucks will be in on the 26th. These will be used as a membership point level reward. The Club will give the member the choice of getting one that is autographed or a blank one. Some members may choose to get their own individual autograph on the puck.
  6. The auction on 11/24/07 will be two jerseys. The training camp jersey and the rookie camp jersey. These items will start at $75 each.
  7. In December, the Club will do an auction at each of the games on the 5th, 7th, and 22nd. These auctions will be geared around items that would be great Christmas gifts or stocking stuffers. There will be individual autographed pucks. The Club will also do an auction for a Coyotes stocking or Coyotes Santa Hat filled with an autographed puck, a Booster Club puck, a necklace, a hat (in the stocking), copy of the Coyotes Charities team photograph and a Coyotes beanie hat. These items will start at $40 or $50 each. The Club will do one at each of the three games stated above.
  8. The Club will obtain a couple of game used autographed sticks to use next season for the highest membership points holders. Booster Club officers will be exempt from this reward.
  9. Agenda that will be discussed at the November Club meeting:
    • Jersey auction on 112407 and the December Christmas themed auctions at the first three games of the month.
    • End of year award; will be named after Beth Champie, a committee will need to be created to determine the qualifications for the award. This award will be for the player with the most dedication to the fans/community. It will be voted on by Booster Club members only.
    • What benefits do the members want to get out of being a member?
    • Viewing party on 121507 at Half Moon in Phoenix on 3rd St/Greenway (11:00AM game).
    • December meeting date will be announced.
    • The possibility of having members meet in the Lexus Club after the game on New Year’s Eve as a social gathering will be discussed.
    • The Club is still trying to find something fun to do with Derek Morris that is not hockey related.

The next Booster Club meeting is scheduled for 11/24/07 at 1:00 PM.
