The meeting agenda was presented by the Booster Club President, Heather Schroeder.

  1. Opening items discussed were that the Coyotes Charities Golf Tournament went well. Larry and Rebecca both participated in the event; and approximately 20 members should be at Saturday’s Booster Club Meeting. This will be held in the lobby of the Coyotes offices at 2:00 PM on October 27, 2007.
  2. Raffle vs. Silent Auction. According to state gambling laws, the club has to be a 501c3 organization for five years before being allowed to have raffles. All future fundraisers will be in auction form. A mystery auction was discussed to try at the next event. Patrons will fill out a slip with their bid and the highest bid wins.
  3. Rebecca will make a list of all items currently in her possession of the Club for future fundraising.  John Todd still has some assets from the old club that he has assured Heather he will return.  This additional inventory will be added to the list as soon as we retrieve it.
  4. At the end of the calendar year, Rebecca will give an official letter to anyone who has donated items to the Club for tax purposes.
  5. The Club wants to get puck display cases to auction multiple pucks in one event.
  6. We still need a list of games the Coyotes Charities will allow us to use their table at gate 4.  Heather will contact Don/Sarah to try to get this information.
  7. Derek Morris has said that he will donate a signed stick soon.
  8. The points were discussed for working the Booster Club table. It will now be 10 points for working the 2 hours prior to the game and 10 points for working during a period of the game.
  9. Social activity near holidays? Dave will look into getting a viewing party at a sports bar. If this is unsuccessful, the Hallidays will open their home for a viewing party. The Club would like to know what the members would like to do. Bowling, paint ball, picnic, skating party with a player or two possibly.
  10. The Club will ask Derek Morris what he would like to do with the members.
  11. Several officers have started new jobs. This should not interfere with Club obligations and commitments for most members through the beginning of January. At that time, availability can be readdressed.
  12. Sell t-shirts and other merchandise to out of town/state members. The board agreed to sell T-shirts for $10. In town members will get their t-shirt when they reach the 50 point goal.
  13. The light-up necklaces will be sold for $7 each or 3 for $20. This can also be earned by members at the 75 point goal. The Club will give Howler a t-shirt and ask if he would wear it during a game or two. This would be great exposure for the Club.
  14. The Club only has a few official spokespeople. Members can not speak on behalf of the Booster Club or the Coyotes team and its affiliates. All questions should filter through Heather as President and Don Schwartz as our liaison to the team.
  15. Club items will be given out at the meeting on the Saturday.

The next Club meeting is scheduled for 10/27/07 at 2:00 PM.
