Minutes
Meeting Date and Location: October 20th, conference call from 6pm to 7pm
Attendance: Heather Schroeder and Dave Horn
Agenda:
- Resignation of secretary and treasurer
- Replacing positions
- Plans for season
Notes:
- We have accepted the resignations of John & Kristen Hall as the
secretaries, and Jennifer Harrison as treasurer.
- They have agreed to provide the records kept during their tenure to be passed to the next members who fill the positions
- Jenn has also been asked to go to Desert Schools to have herself removed from the bank account
- We will look for replacements in the current membership
- In the meantime, Dave will serve as the interim secretary and Heather will serve as the interim treasurer
- Dave and Heather are both on the bank account currently, Jenn should have herself removed
- Because this is our second set of secretary & treasurer, we are going to take our time and find the right people who will fit in with the current dynamic that seems to be working
- We will announce the openings at the general meeting on the 25th
- People who are interested will be given a chance to work with us and be sure they really want the position, and that they will fit in
- The plans we have made for the season seem to be coming along
very well. There are more members than last year, and more of
them are participating and volunteering than in the past.
- Once the golf tournament is over, we will be able to meet with Sarah and Don about future plans and activities
