Items on the agenda were presented by Heather Schroeder:

  1. Ordered items were discussed - pins, lanyards, ticket pouches, t-shirts, and light-up necklaces (300 each item). 100 8x10 autographed photographs of Coyotes team members have also been ordered, some players will be signing on October 8th and then they will determine which items will be given to the Booster Club. Don stated the pins should be in by October 15th. Other items would be checked on for definite dates of delivery. Don stated there should not be a problem with the Booster Club buying a box of pucks from the team at their price. The Club officers will acquire autographs of players on these pucks for auction and membership point purposes.
  2. 50/50 raffle. There are only five dates still available and none are a Saturday game after a Booster Club meeting. The dates available are: 123107 Monday (Colorado), 021408 Thursday (Dallas), 031108 Tuesday (Anaheim), 033108 Thursday (Vancouver) and 040308 Thursday, last home game of the regular season (Dallas). The Club will have to determine if we have 20 volunteers to sell 50/50 raffle tickets at any of these games. One possible mentioned was the 123107 game.
  3. Don stated there are 500 Booster Club brochures remaining. The Club will confirm this number and determine when the next order should be placed. Heather and Don will create an informational, one page brochure the players can send to their families or out of town friends.
  4. Membership Points Program. Don stated the Sales Department is not okay with giving Booster Club members benefits that season ticket holders receive. There is still discussion of getting a one time discount coupon to give to members. This could possible be something that is earned through the Points Program. At the 350 point mark there is an event listed. This would still need to be discussed with other departments in the Coyotes Organization. Items in concern were a possible Chalk Talk with Pang/Strader and a Backstage Pass at different point accomplishments.
  5. The Susan G Komen Race for the Cure on October 14th was discussed. Don will get more information to determine if the Booster Club can be of assistance or have a team walking.
  6. Don will check to see if Heather can contact Matt Rosen directly for the interview of the main Booster Club officers or if Don will have Matt contact Heather. The Club will be mentioned on the scoreboard before the start of each game.
  7. New table location will be handled through the Marketing Department. Heather has made contact with Kara and should have a final answer in about a week. The Club is hoping to move across from the Den at the main gate four. This will be near Howler’s Kid’s Club and the Coyotes Charities tables.
  8. The Training Camp jersey has been found, but is not signed. Don will try to get this signed on October 8th.
  9. The Coyotes Causes/Charities can not help with accepting credit cards payments at the Booster Club booth. The club will either have to get their own credit card machine/account or use PayPal.
  10. Don expressed the Club should not contact other NHL teams for donations.
  11. The discount for the Den was addressed again; a one time discount coupon could be approved.
  12. The only help the Coyotes Causes/Charities need from the Booster Club, at this time, is to make sure the free programs are stocked on game nights. The Club will be allowed to place an insert in the programs describing the Booster Club in return for this help.
  13. The Booster Club would like to have advance knowledge of upcoming events. This would let the Club help get the word out and also find volunteers to help at these events. The next event mentioned besides the Komen walk was on October 21st, Derek Morris and Keith Ballard will be at Chapman Chevrolet from 3-5 PM.

The Booster Club meeting is scheduled for 10/06/07 at 2:00 PM in the Coyotes conference room.
