Minutes
Meeting Date: Friday September 28th, 6pm - 8pm
Attendance: Heather Schroeder, Dave Horn, Rebecca Wininger, Jaclyn and Larry Halliday
Agenda:
- Updates from Coyotes
- Club Meeting on 10/6
- Membership Points Program
The meeting agenda was presented by the Booster Club President, Heather Schroeder.
Items that were discussed:
- Items that have been ordered are pins, lanyards, ticket pouches, t-shirts, and light-up necklaces (300 each item). 100 8x10 autographed photographs of Coyotes team members have also been ordered. All items have expected delivery dates in early to mid-October.
- New table location on game nights. The Club is hoping to move across from the Den at the main gate four. This will be near Howler’s Kid’s Club and the Coyotes Charities tables.
- The membership points system was approved verbally by all five officers. The rewards for membership points had autographed items listed as additional point rewards. The Club will try to acquire signed pucks and sticks, as well as 8x10 photographs for reward and auction purposes.
- We hope to have Matt Rosen interview the officers for mention on www.phoenixcoyotes.com and during broadcasts. The Club will be mentioned on the scoreboard before the start of each game and in the program in some manner.
- The website will be updated in accordance with the Coyotes suggestions.
- The Club will have a table at the Coyotes Player Luncheon on 10/02/07.
- The Club will be going on a road trip to see the Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL face-off against the Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League in the first game of a two-game pre-season series at 7:05 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 at Tim’s Toyota Center in Prescott Valley.
- The Club will sponsor Derek Morris. Any time he scores a goal, the Club will be mentioned by the announcer and on the scoreboard our donation to Coyotes Charities.
- The tentative agenda for the Club meeting on 10/27/07 was
discussed.
- The Club officers will be officially elected by the members.
- Bylaws, financial, membership and volunteer updates will be discussed.
- Our guests will be Sarah Finecey, Don Schwartz and Valerie McIntosh of the Coyotes Charities.
- The Club, with help from the Coyotes organization, will decide how patrons can purchase items from the Club with credit cards.
The next Club meeting is scheduled for 10/27/07 at 2:00 PM. The board will meet with the Coyotes before the general meeting.
