Meeting Date and Location: Saturday, April 11, 2009 2pm
Suite 1123, Jobing.com Arena
Attendance: 4 board members in attendance/49 Booster

- Guest speaker Don Maloney – General Manager
- Tonight we will present our Beth Champie memorial trophy
- Background of trophy
- Will be part of the pre-game events, so try to get back to
your seat in time to howl for us!
- Thanks for the howls for the check presentation, I heard
you!
- Thanks to everyone for everything!
- Coyotes events have been well attended by the Club
- Club events have also been well attended
- Volunteers have been available for every event we’ve needed
you for
- People have been referring friends and earning extra points
- Club improvements – 07-08 membership was 78, ended the
season with $1600 with no donations
- Membership Update
- Current year members – 357
- 2009-10 year members – 35 paid as of 4/10
- Renewals for next season are appreciated – the more we
collect in advance, the more we have to use to pay for next
season’s membership rewards
- New member offer available now thru June 30 – Season +
special includes the rest of this season (6/30) and all of next
season and the price is just an extra $10. Members receive all
rewards from both years, and can start earning points now

- It’s not too late, and now you can donate knowing how much
it will cost up front
- Club donation so far is $638
- Convention
- If anyone is interested in attending the NHLBCC in Las Vegas
from August 7 -9, please let me know
- So far just 3 of us are going, but this is a fun event with
lots of other hockey fans!
- Assistance for other clubs
- Anaheim has contacted us for help in reforming their fan
club/booster club
- Los Angeles has asked for suggestions for growing their club
the way we continue to grow ours
- We want to support the success of all clubs, so we will do
what we can to help them
- Off Season Activities
- The Coyotes will host events aimed at selling additional
tickets
- There will probably be a Draft Day party also, we’ll pass
along details when they become available
- We will attend all of the public events
- Any suggestions for other club activities?
- Playoff viewing parties?
- Diamondbacks games?
- Anything else?
- 2009-10 Season
- New second charity/walk?
- Swift Charities focuses on the West Valley Child Crisis
Center, do we do that one and help the Coyotes with a toy
drive / clothing drive next season?
- Susan G Komen / Pat Tillman?
- Find a charity with a local tie?
- We will be helping the marketing department with the
giveaways next season and possibly other events
- We will need volunteers for the table, as usual
- 50/50 – we will pick another Saturday game vs a Canadian
team in the spring, and hopefully will have another excellent
return
- Most likely we will remain the Coyotes go-to
organization in the event someone isn’t able to fulfill
their commitments
- Rewards?
- What kinds of things would you like to earn as rewards?
- Keep in mind needs to be low priced so we can maximize
our donations
- Silent Auctions
- We will get more jerseys and sticks for auctions next
season
- Anyone who works for a company that might want to put
together any type of package for silent auctions, please let
us know
- End of year party
- No information yet, but we are looking at an end of April,
early May date
- Location will hopefully be the Oggi’s in North Scottsdale
