We all hope that we won't see the Sundogs play again this season!  (that means they win the Cup!)

We made $180 selling light-up necklaces, collected dues from one family and collect payments for polo shirts as well.

Thursday, May 2nd - Membership materials ordered!

The order for pins, lanyards and pouches was placed.  We should have them in about 4 weeks.

Thursday, April 10th - Wildflower Bread Company fund raising event

The Wildflower Bread Company in Goodyear hosted an evening with the Phoenix Coyotes Booster Club from 5pm to 8pm.

15% of all purchases made during that time will go to the Booster Club.

In addition we had some items that we did raffles for throughout the evening.

Members who attended earned 15 membership points, and we saw 15 members come out and spend some money and earn a bit for the club.

Don Schwartz from the Coyotes also stopped by to say hello, eat some dinner and buy some Coyotes cupcakes to take back to the office.

All in all it was a fun event and we brought in about $300 without really having to do any work at all!

Thursday, April 3rd - Game #41 vs. Dallas Stars (L 4-2)

Final home game of the season.  This was a busy night for the club.  We had several things going, all at once!

Inaugural Beth Champie Memorial Award presentation - during a televised pre-game ceremony, Derek Morris was presented the first Beth Champie Memorial Award by Heather Schroeder, President of the Phoenix Coyotes Booster Club in recognition of his dedication to the fans.  95 members voted, and 45 of them chose Derek as the most dedicated player.

Daniel Carcillo Silent Auction - we purchased a red jersey and had Daniel Carcillo's name and number sewn on.  He autographed it, as well as a Booster Club puck and two programs he was on the cover of.  We also acquired an autographed game used stick from the Coyotes.  All of these items were packaged together in a silent auction to benefit Coyotes Charities.  The final selling price was $535.

50/50 Raffle - this game was our officially assigned raffle night.  We had about 18 people volunteer, and the total amount earned was $750 (unofficial as of 4/4).

New members - we received dues from 9 new members during the game.

Tuesday, April 1st - Season Ticket Holder Autograph Session

All season ticket holders were invited to a special autograph session with all of the players out at Jobing.com arena.

All of the players were set up at a long table, with two lines for the fans to wait in to see everyone.  The lines were long, but the attitudes were good as the fans got their first chance to see newly signed Coyotes player Kyle Turris.

The Hanson Brothers from Slap Shot - Season Ticket Holders were treated to a special appearance by the Hanson Brothers from the movie Slap Shot.  The guys signed autographs and posed for pictures up on the suite level for STH before the game.  The booster club was able to acquire a puck autographed by each brother, and one by all three for future silent auctions fund raising.

Silent Auctions - We had two different silent auctions during this game, an autographed Krystopher Kolanos jersey and a tough guys puck pack (Carcillo, Gratton, Weller, Hordichuck, Boynton).  The jersey sold for $60 and the pucks went for $200!

President Heather Schroeder presented a check to John Breslow of Coyotes Charities for the 5 goals Derek Morris scored during the year.

The original agreement with Coyotes Charities was for $5000, with the understanding that we might not make that goal in our first year.

On March 20th, the Phoenix Coyotes Booster Club presented an actual check in the amount of $5000 to Sarah Finecey before the ceremony!

Saturday, March 15th - Game #37 vs. Edmonton

St. Patrick's Day Green Jerseys - The Coyotes players all wore specially made green St. Patrick's Day jerseys during the pre-game warm up.  These jerseys were all placed up for auction on auctions.nhl.com to benefit Coyotes Charities.

In addition we had a giant birthday card for Tyson, which we invited fans to sign.  It was given to Tyson when he returned home from Kushiro, Japan.  He thanked all the fans that signed and wished him happy birthday.

New members - we hit 200 members!
